The dates are concurrent with the Penn State calendar and allow for students to return to take additional courses or to work internships during the second (or first) session. Most courses have pre-requisites so anyone interested in attending these should first check the specific program web site (under the program title above) and/or with the program coordinator.
In addition to the academically specific field trip excursions that will be included with each of the specific programs, the Institute will plan to offer co-curricular and extra-curricular, or optional, field trips to places like: Pompei, Paestum, Firenze, Venezia, Verona, Modena, as well as day trips to Villa Adriana, Caprarola and Bagnaia.
We expect additional courses to be offered and these additional offerings will be listed in the coming weeks. For now we are working on the coordination of these specific programs and will be posting the new developments for Summer 2010.
Special arrangements can be made for late arrivals and independent study course needs. These arrangements can be studied on an individual basis and will be gladly considered as part of the our first Summer of offerings at the Pantheon Institute.
